Most housewives spend in their kitchen up to 40% of their
free time. In order for this “pastime” to be fruitful, the kitchen must be
properly organized. By correctness is meant the rational use of not only the
space of the kitchen (its layout), but also the correct distribution of
responsibilities for kitchen furniture.
Modern kitchens are extremely practical and comfortable. For
the most part, they are created just to facilitate the work of the hostess.
Kitchen furniture at the moment can be made in a wide variety of style
solutions. The main trends in the styles of kitchen furniture are classic and
modern kitchens.
Any modern kitchen wall is divided into three tiers: lower,
worktop (middle) and upper tier.
1. Let's start from the bottom. Modern boxes often have a
large capacity. Tall and deep drawers are usually located on the floor. They
usually have not only vertical dividers, but also horizontal ones, which allows
more rational use of their entire volume. All boxes today are equipped with a
moving mechanism that allows you to open the box for its entire length, and to
close it with a flick of the wrist (the box closes itself for the last few
centimeters of the path). Such a mechanism allows not only to increase the
functionality of the box, but also protects it from shock.
A very convenient mechanism is the push & open system.
The principle of its action is that to open the drawer or door you only need to
lightly press on the facade. Of course, the facade of the kitchen without handles
looks rather unusual, but it is practical, because it is easy to wash.
The lower tier of kitchens is also equipped with pull-out
baskets designed to store kitchen utensils and products.
Similar to such baskets and drawers, also equipped with
capacious metal baskets. Such speakers are often narrow, which is compensated
by their ability to advance to their full depth so that you can easily get any
item out of the basket.
Often today, kitchens have several very narrow modules that
are equipped with roll-out systems for the bottle-holder, towel holder and
household chemicals.
Extremely popular with customers today are corner kitchens.
The presence in these kitchens of a deep corner module led to the invention of
metal carousels, which allow the use of up to 90% of the free space of the
corner. Such carousels have several shelves that can rotate in any direction,
thereby allowing you to get any item without much effort.
In addition, modern kitchens may have special cabinets for
small household appliances, which already have sockets built into the rear
wall. You can also often find kitchens with a retractable ironing board.
2. The middle tier of kitchens is equipped with various
rails, narrow shelves on the kitchen apron, hooks for kitchen utensils,
coasters and holders for bottles and glasses, towel holders and dish dryers.
3. The upper tier of kitchens is usually represented by
cabinets and shelves. The cabinet doors can be classic swing, sliding, as well
as folding, lifting (like blinds) and folding. The “facade elevation” system
for cabinet doors is very convenient, which not only lifts the door up, but
also allows it to open at an angle, which greatly facilitates the search for
necessary products and things.
