The tips that we leave you below are logical and will surely facilitate your task. Take note and do not hesitate to write us if you have any questions.
Materials:
Amount of paint needed (it is better to have more than less)
             Roller
             Diary paper
             Plastic roll to cover surfaces
             Adhesive tape or bodybuilder tape
             Water

1. Painting

It is very important to choose the type of paint we will need when painting a room. In specialized stores we find many different options.
In addition, the type of painting will always depend on the surface that we are going to paint, it is not the same to paint a wall of wood that is porous, that one of plaster or one of cement. In the same way, we will have to choose the colors well for each type of room and not recharge the rooms.
If your walls are already of a dark hue, we advise you to apply a washable water paint, while in the kitchen and bathroom areas, which are humid rooms, a water-based breathable paint is recommended.

2. Brushes and rollers

The choice between a brush or a roller will depend on the amount of wall surface that we are going to paint. If the work requires a lot of paint, it is better to buy rollers of different sizes to reach any part of it properly.
The rollers can also be made of different materials; Check that the type of paint is properly adapted to the roller. We advise you to buy high quality rollers or brushes, as these will help you to distribute the paint better.
Painting with cheap rollers will make you waste more paint. Do not skimp on expenses and acquire quality products.

First steps before painting the walls

Once we have the materials, we must prepare the surface (both the walls and the furniture and the floor).

Clean the walls

If the walls do not have accumulated dirt, such as dust, pieces of adhesive tape or nails, the paint will look much better and you will achieve a professional effect.
If you need it, take a sponge and moisten it with warm water to clean the areas that need it. Once the surface is dry, you can start painting.

Move the furniture apart

You have to organize the room very well to avoid staining the furniture and other elements, for example the door handles and the lamps. Remove everything that is likely to be stained with paint.
Cover the floor with plastic paper and tape it so it does not move. It covers corners, cabinets, floorboards, etc.
The ideal is to stack the furniture in an area where there is no danger and, if they are anchored to the wall, cover them so they do not stain.

Get primer paint

To get the best finish, we advise you to add a first coat of primer paint;  its characteristics will make the paint we have chosen adhere perfectly and have a professional appearance.
This fixing paint should be mixed in the following ratio: one liter in six liters of water, so buying a liter we will have enough for one or two rooms. When you have it, follow these steps:
Apply a coat of primer paint.
Let it dry at least 4 hours.
Applies the first selected paint layer.
Wait about 5 hours, or even until the next day, before applying the second coat.
Once you apply the second layer, the wall will be dry in an hour.
Ideally, wait a day before reassembling the room.

Choose the day you are going to paint well

It is preferable to paint a sunny day, without rain and without humidity. If you plan to paint the walls one weekend and threaten bad weather, it is preferable to wait, because when it is time to dry we will have to open the windows to make it easier for the paint to seal faster.
In addition, sunlight will fill us with energy and we can see the result of how our work will be left.
Illumination
Sunlight is necessary, but we advise you to support it with good lighting to see all the paint strokes you make.
Bodybuilder tape or painter's tape
Use it whenever you need it. It is a very useful element, since it will allow us to accurately paint the joints, corners and even make some decorative distinctive.

Do not use a lot of paint

It is a mistake to use a lot of painting at once. Impregnates the paint on the roller evenly and in thin and thin layers.
Using a lot of paint will make our work more expensive, in addition, the paint will take more time to dry causing annoying air bubbles to arise.

Movements from top to bottom

Not only we refer to the movement of the roller, but it is convenient to start painting the upper part of the wall and go down.
If you plan to also paint the ceiling, start with it.

Final drying

Do not hurry to reassemble the rooms.  Rushing can cause the wall is not dry and some area is lost.
Also, with each layer you apply, be patient and leave the time before applying the next one.
As you can see, these are some tips that you have to take into account before painting the walls of your house. If you have doubts, ask at your trusted store to not miss the choice of materials and colors, but above all, lean on your tastes and personality.
Now you can enjoy painting the walls of your house!
